Library for Support of ReReSearch System Development

At this time, the development of the ReReSearch system is significantly slowed down by mutual incompatibility of system modules, by the fact that developers often repeat already known mistakes and of course by poor communication between developers in general. To solve this problem, there was a need to create a component which would implement and unify often performed tasks in development of ReReSearch system and this way to spend time of ReReSearch developers. The result of this effort is so-called "rrslib" - a Python library, which is supposed to be a helper for everyone, who works on parts of ReReSearch project: database, data extractors, web-based agents, crawlers, XML-processing etc. The library should serve for more consistent, faster and more reliable development of ReReSearch system.

Influence of the information sources on the consumer behaviour

This bachelor thesis focuses on the influence of information sources on consumer behaviour in the area of the internet as such, mainly internet advertising and its influence on consumer behaviour. The whole thesis is then divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it deals with the history of the internet and the history of the internet in the Czech Republic after the 1990s. Furthermore, information on the internet, morality of information and consumer behaviour. Then the practical part is the result of a questionnaire survey sent out to respondents. The questionnaire in its complete version is then in Appendix 1 of the bachelor thesis.

Attitudes of parents to negative effects of media on children and youth

The influence of the media has been of interest to social scientists since the nineteen twenties. The question of what effects do the media have on young people has not yet, however, been still clearly answered. The present paper tries to summarize current knowledge on this issue, focusing in particular on the effects of media on children. It offers a more detailed analysis of individual media, its benefits, risks, options and main features. Attention is also paid to the general influences of media on society and individuals, followed by a section on the effects of media on children, especially dealing with the possible negative effects of media on them, the issue of violence in the media, view of reality and fiction and the related possibility of shifting emotional perception in children and the problem of imitation of media violence. In this context, it notes in particular the role of television, internet and computer games in the lives of today's children. The focus is also on the importance of family in the elimination of possible negative effects of media on children, its role in the media education of children and prevention of potential negative effects of media on children. Furthermore, this thesis contains practical advice and recommendations as to how the negative influences of media and new technologies on children and youth may be reduced. The empirical findings are used throughout the text to support the main argument. These findings are presented in the final section.

Competition and customer's needs analysis in relation to the small company

The significancy of small and medium enterprise is really important. Small and medium enterprise creates working stations and competitive enviroment. In these days are these enterprise in impasse situation. The tendency of globalization destroys small and medium enterpriseurs, because they cannot create good earnings and sufficient profit. The purpose of this diploma paper was analysis of competition which is situated in local region and which stand to enterpriseur of company Nový Byt in good stead. Nový Byt has a big tradition in local market and the owner offers good services and quality furniture. Feature of this diploma paper was analysis of local and potencional competion and consumer analysis. The biggest competition for the company Nový Byt is definetely Nábytek u Kozů. This company is not situated in Žďár on Sázava, but in Nové Město on Morava. The owner is prepared to establish another store in Žďár on Sázava in future. The company started in 2005 and made a big progress in selling furniture. Nábytek u Kozů sells the same kinds of furniture and accessories like Nový Byt. Prices of that furniture are on the same level and the company offers better and cheaper services. The owner is well-educated in selling furniture, because he worked like a business assistant of furniture company calls Pohoda. Another rival companies are A JE TO and Bexim. These companies are situated in same department store in Žďár on Sázava. A JE TO tries to sell a good-price furniture and offers many services. Bexim sells furniture only from czech suppliers and relies on quality products. The purpose of questionnaire searching is founding segment of customers, which will be usefull for company Nový Byt. It should be persons from 20 ? 59 years old. The most of these respondents were satisfied with the price and quality of furniture. Many of these respondents have no experience with buying products by the internet. This finding was very suprising and it gives the owner big potencial to the future of selling furniture by the internet.
